Requesting a proposal with the report
When you submit a measurement request, choose Roof report and ready-to-sign proposal instead of Detailed roof report. Two fields matter more when you do:- Homeowner information — first name, last name, phone, and email. These appear on the proposal and are used to send it for signature.
- Roof information for proposal — material, layers, and anything else that affects your price.
Line items and pricing
Proposals are built from your own line items and pricing rather than a generic rate, so the number the homeowner sees is yours. Configure these once in your settings and they carry across proposals. Where a report contains estimated quantities — overhang being the common case — the corresponding line item inherits that uncertainty. Review those before sending.Sending for signature
Once a proposal looks right, send it to the homeowner for signature. You’ll see its state change as the homeowner views and signs it, so you know where each proposal stands without following up blind.Revisions
If a measurement changes after a revision to the underlying report, revisit the proposal — pricing built on the previous numbers won’t update on its own if you’ve already customized it.Accuracy and revisions
